Hermès Kelly, size 32, is made of navy blue Box Calf Leather. The Kelly bag was named after Grace Kelly when she was photographed holding the bag to hide a pregnant belly. It was originally introduced in 1892 as the Haut à courroies bag to hold saddles then later redesigned to become a travel bag,  Sac à dépêches, in 1930. It was re-named the Kelly in 1977. This bag is the perfect Hermès classic collectors bag. 

The bag has gold-plated hardware and the main compartment closes with the famous ‘Kelly’ closure. The inside is made of leather and has two slip-in pockets and a pocket that can be closed with a zipper. The Kelly is famous for its trapezoid shape, two triangular gussets, and sculpted flap. The Hermès lock and keys are still attached to the bag. The bag can be worn by hand or on the wrist.

The overall condition of this vintage Hermès Kelly bag is good. The outside leather is in good condition also the shape of the bag. The gold-colored hardware lock has some discoloration, which gives the Kelly bag a beautiful vintage touch. This item comes with an authenticity card from the store.
